Public Safety Canada – Call for Proposals
Correctional Service Canada (CSC) is launching a call for proposals from Indigenous organizations that can provide reintegration support for First Nations, Métis and Inuit offenders as they transition from the institution to their home communities in urban areas.
Indigenous organizations may apply for a contract to deliver trauma, addictions or life skills counselling at CSC institutions and Healing Lodges in Aboriginal Interventions Centers or AICs (see the list below). Organizations should be able to provide services to inmates in the institutions, and also have the ability to continue to provide these services to offenders once they are released to an urban community. If your organization is able to provide this support to help inmates prepare for release, you may be eligible for a contract through this funding.
Deadline
The deadline to submit a proposal is June 25, 2018 at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Standard Time (EST).
