OAHS is pleased with City of Thunder Bay Council final approval for the sale of the Junot property as planned.  We are also pleased that we are moving forward with a development that is appropriate for the size and location of the property as discussed with and encouraged by City Council.  Along with our partners, Thunder Bay Indigenous Friendship Centre, Ontario Native Women’s Association, and Métis Nation of Ontario, we are working to provide a much needed, culturally-appropriate option to serve some of the Indigenous youth who are experiencing homelessness in Thunder Bay.  See the council resolution supporting this development here.
