Minister Calandra met today with OAHS CEO Justin Marchand and Director of Policy Chelsea Combot. They met at the Rural Ontario Municipal Association conference in Toronto.
The positive meeting focused on solutions to addressing homelessness as well as the significant need for Housing for Indigenous People living in Urban and Rural areas of Ontario. OAHS shared examples of the success stories of Indigenous people when investments in Housing and Supportive Housing are made.
OAHS looks forward to continuing collaboration with the Province of Ontario and Minister Calandra.
