City council approved a planning application, submitted by OAHS, that will see the former St. Bernadette Catholic School transformed into apartments to help single, Indigenous mothers receive an education, obtain meaningful skills and work.
This development is based upon the WoodGreen Homeward Bound Program in Toronto, ON and follows the announcement of a similar OAHS partnership in Dryden, ON.
