The Kenora District Services Board is celebrating the successful launch and renovations to the old Pinewood school in Dryden. The former school was renovated into a 15-unit multi-residential home and resource centre last year, after being purchased in 2017.
The building is now host to single mothers and their children as community partners provide support for the family, as well as help the parent further their education and find employment through the services board’s Homeward Bound program.
